The position is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying operational improvements, and supporting strategic change initiatives across Equity and Equity Derivatives operations. Working closely with Product, Technology, Risk, Operations, and external vendors, the individual will gather and translate business requirements, evaluate data, and process impacts, and help deliver scalable solutions that support business growth and operational efficiency.In this role, you will:Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiativesDrive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriateReview strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performancePerform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendationsMake decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plansCollaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiativesInfluence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the groupRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Experience supporting Equity and Equity Derivatives products, including trade lifecycle, clearing, settlement, and operational support functionsExperience within Trade Operations, Trade Support, Middle Office, or Capital Markets Operations environmentsStrong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process analysis, data analysis, and solution designExperience supporting operational change initiatives, platform implementations, or business transformation programsKnowledge of market structure, clearing, and post-trade processing workflowsExperience partnering with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to define business requirements and implement strategic solutionsAbility to analyze operational data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to business stakeholdersExperience managing vendor relationships and third-party service providers, including BroadridgeExperience creating business requirements documents (BRDs), process flows, user stories, gap analyses, and operational proceduresStrong understanding of risk and control considerations within Trade Operations and Clearing environmentsAdvanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and process documentation toolsJob Expectations:Ability to work a hybrid scheduleWillingness to work on-site at stated location on the job openingAbility to work additional hours as neededThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipPosting Location:550 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28202This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check.
