Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
- Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
- Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
- Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
- Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
- This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
- You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
- Train in multiple locations and cover when needed.
- Be adaptable to schedule changes
- Have availability to work more than two shifts to cover where the operator needs you to be scheduled depending on coverage needs.
Qualifications
- 21+ years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Must have a valid NYS Security License
- Must have overnight availability
- Capable of following complex instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
Schedule
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - 16:00pm - 00:00am
Saturday - 08:00am - 16:00pm
(Weekend and Weekdays Availability)
Hourly Pay: $19.49 (Weekly Pay)
