About the Position

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Pennsylvania

Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Pennsylvania

Schedule: 13-week assignment, every other weekend required, night weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday), 4:1 patient ratio, 12-hour orientation

Highlights:

• Mixed adult and pediatric emergency department with daily census of 45
• Charting system: Epic experience required
• All age groups served: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Cross-training available to support respiratory services
• Floating may be required to additional campus locations as needed
• First-time travelers accepted

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1-2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: NRP, ATCN
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in emergency nursing skills including arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilator care, central line management, IV sedation, dysrhythmia management, emergency medications, procedural sedation, phlebotomy, IV starts, triage, and 12-lead EKG
• Experience with diverse patient populations including CVA, trauma, drug overdose, multisystem organ dysfunction, and violent behavior management
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Pennsylvania state fingerprinting and background clearance required
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius (local rate differential applies)
