By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA Services and for the people who work here.NTT DATA Services currently seeks a SAP Technical Lead (Basis) to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)Requirements:6+ years of hands-on technical experience in SAP Technology (SAP Basis)6+ years solution architect experience across a broad technology base with a mix of legacy & emerging technologies5+ years leading geographically dispersed teams, driving common vision & achievementsDay to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)Proficient in troubleshooting & analyzing technical issues and leading resolutionExperience in consulting projects is an added advantage to support projectsStrong communication (verbal & written) & collaboration skills working in multi-cultural & cross-functional teamsExperienced with generation of estimates for cost, skills, resources, timeline.Comfortable with ambiguity & generating estimates based on high level requirements & assumptionsTakes initiative to stay abreast of new technology and offers in SAP spaceMust have worked on variety of projects (SAP version upgrades, Platform and OS/DB migrations, S/4HANA Conversions, Unicode Conversions, System Installations, System Copies, etc.)Proven experience with development of solutions, tools and/or accelerators to address industry & functional requirements &/or to improve efficiencyConversant with & able to apply the SAP Methodologies and information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) standardsExperienced with creation & management of SOWs Able to discuss & explain complex, technical concepts & requirements in relatable, layman terms in order to gain agreement on recommendations & designsUnderstanding of H/W sizing analysis (different aspects of Servers, Storage, network etc.)Experience with pre-sales support and other solutioning workProven strong focus on customer service & quality, proactive and self-motivatedDegree: e.g. Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experienceNice to Have; (But not a must)Desired skills:SAP Technical Certifications (HANA, SAP Certified Associate / Professional, SAP OS/DB Migration)Past direct employment with SAP (ISV)Experience with a major SAP Provider/Consultant (i.e. Big 5) Certified Enterprise Architect (Togaf Certification) will be an added advantageThis position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
