Description Position Summary – 40 hr/wk Days, hours can be flexible. Required on site presence located in Manchester NH. About the Job The Compliance and Privacy Senior Manager, under the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer and Privacy Officer, provides professional services in support of compliance program objectives including compliance with Medicare hospital and professional billing and coding requirements, conducting audits, special reviews and investigations, risk analysis and monitoring, education and training and breach response and prevention. The Compliance and Privacy Senior Manager may also supervise other compliance personnel (auditors, specialists, etc.), as determined by the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer. The role will assist with managing, developing, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive Compliance and Privacy Program in accordance with local policies and federal and state requirements and guidance. What You’ll Do Manage the implementation of EllieHealth System entities' compliance activities, programs, policies, and procedures, to ensure system integrity and compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including but not limited to regulations associated with Medicare billing, coding and documentation requirements and protection of patient privacy, as assigned by the entity Compliance & Privacy Officer. Work diligently to foster a culture and climate of sensitivity to compliant and ethical behavior within the organization. Manage annual audit work plans as assigned in collaboration with the Senior Compliance Auditor and under the direction of the Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer. Work in collaboration with the Compliance & Privacy Officer in the preparation of required reporting to committees including Senior Leadership and Board of Trustees members. Who You Are Bachelor's degree, required. Must possess more than 5 years of work‑related experience in hospital and professional billing and coding compliance, compliance with HIPAA, and other healthcare regulatory matters, required. Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations related to compliance and privacy issues, including fraud, waste, and abuse, required.
