We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team to assist with vendor life cycle, onboarding, contracting, performance monitoring, relationship building and contract renewals. This position can be based in most US-based office locations. Additional responsibilities include the following:Work closely with the projects team to understand details of strategic procurement requirements including sourcing, pre-qualification, etc.Initiate and renew contracts including framework agreements, service line agreements, etc., negotiate pricing, terms, and provisionsEngage, educate, and influence indirect and direct vendors to align to GHDs Environmental, Sustainable and Governance (ESG) commitmentsEstablish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with internal and external partnersMeasure and monitor vendor performance and compliance with agreements, contracts, conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews and provide feedback to team on gaps, and business opportunitiesBuild industry, vendor, category, business unit, etc. specific reports, analyze data, and report on gaps and opportunities to the team including vendor segmentationAssist in growing GHD's supplier diversity programPerform all responsibilities within GHD Procurement Guidelines and ensure relevant processes and procedures are followedOur Hybrid Work Model: Be part of the dynamic culture! Join us in the office three days a week to contribute, connect and excel in our vibrant environment.What you'll bring to the team:Bachelor's degree in business administration, procurement, finance, or related field preferred2+ years of strategic procurement experience including data analysis, sourcing, vendor management, and contract managementHigh proficiency with data management and analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, Excel (intermediate to expert)Previous experience with Salesforce is considered an assetStrong communication skills and problem-solving skillsExcellent English verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize and multitaskProactive attitude towards work, teamwork, and cooperationBilingual in English and French is considered an assetBenefits:401K - Employees are eligible to participate on the first day of the month following 3 months of servicePaid time off - Our PTO benefit is designed to provide eligible employees with a period of rest and relaxation, sick, and personal time throughout the year. Holiday pay will be based on the regular set schedule for the employeeWellness Benefit- Regular full-term employees are eligible to participate in the wellness reimbursement program. GHD will reimburse 50% of the cost of the following to maximum of $250.00 reimbursement annually for such items as: Health club membership fees, home exercise equipment purchases, Bicycles, Race, run & marathon entrance fees, Smoking cessation programs, Weight loss programs (i.e.-Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig), Fitbits and Fitness Tracking devicesSalary Range: $26.00 - $35.00 based on experience and location.
