Behavioral Health Technician

Schedule

Shift: 18:45 - 07:15; every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. The role involves providing quality care to patients in a behavioral health setting, ensuring safety, and supporting therapeutic activities. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct observation rounds and monitor vital signs.
• Perform glucometer checks and maintain safe environments.
• Conduct patient and belongings searches as needed.
• Engage in milieu management and safety practices.
• Assist in group therapy sessions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Previous experience in behavioral health.
• Certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) and BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Proficient in manual blood pressure measurement and EKG.
• Experience with electronic health record documentation.
