Wireman Position in Boyne City, MI

The company is currently seeking a Wireman in Boyne City, MI. SALARY: Starting at $22.18/hr.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire company products to conform to Engineering drawings and specifications and shop procedures.
• Interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to assemble and wire company products.
• Plan, lay out, cut, pull, tighten, bend, and place wires to conform to drawings, wiring diagrams, and Engineering specifications.
• Advise leader of print discrepancies and write Engineering Clarification Requests (ECR) and Defective Material Reports (DMR).
• Advise leader and co-workers of job-related problems.
• Be aware of processes and documentation required through observation and inquiry.
• Perform other work-related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Vocational, High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Manufacturing experience helpful.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to interpret drawings and Bills of Material.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to read and write.
