This position is remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere while engaging with clients via secure telehealth technology. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct secure and confidential remote therapy sessions using telehealth technology, ensuring a safe space for clients to express their concerns.
  • Perform thorough assessments to evaluate clients' relational dynamics, mental health issues, and family contexts, which inform the development of personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize family systems therapy techniques to address complex relationship dynamics, enhancing communication and resolving conflicts.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention support as necessary to safeguard client well-being, ensuring rapid response to urgent issues.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential electronic records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Educate clients on effective communication strategies and coping mechanisms to reinforce their relational skills and enhance emotional resilience.
  • Collaborate with a remote team of skilled professionals in delivering comprehensive, multidisciplinary care tailored to client needs.
  • Stay abreast of current trends in marriage and family therapy, actively engaging in professional development opportunities to enhance your therapeutic expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse array of clients who seek help for various issues, including but not limited to relationship conflicts, family dynamics, individual stressors, and life transitions. You will engage with individuals and families from different backgrounds and walks of life, contributing to their emotional and relational growth through accessible remote therapy services.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
  • A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience working in a therapeutic setting, specifically focusing on marriage and family dynamics.
  • Familiarity with providing remote therapy services is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills suitable for effective remote therapy sessions.
  • Strong commitment to ethical therapy practices and maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote setting.
  • Flexible scheduling availability to accommodate clients across various time zones.

Preferred Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in utilizing teletherapy platforms and online counseling tools.
  • Knowledge of family systems theory and experience implementing systemic interventions.
  • Expertise in crisis intervention and management strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
