About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU (Neuro ICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Neurological Intensive Care Unit setting
• Monitor and assess neurological status of critically ill patients using established clinical protocols
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 18 months of ICU experience
• Strong neurological nursing skills required
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a dedicated Neuro ICU environment
• Familiarity with stroke protocols and neurological emergency management
