We are looking for a Technical Designer – Men’s Underwear for a top fashion company in New York! Temp to perm opportunity. 5 days onsite. Responsibilities: Work with designers, manufacturers, suppliers and customers to ensure product specifications are workable. Analyze projects and determine required resources and project schedules. Implement design changes and create contingency plans as needed. Supervision of engineering and design teams. Visit the production sites and report to management. Completion of various administrative tasks. Establish quality control standards. Ensuring that all products are of high quality and conform to company standards and brand values. Evaluate prototypes and inspect finished products to make sure they are free from defects. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field 5+ years of relevant experience in Technical Design - Men’s Underwear Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, CAD, PLM Experience in pattern making Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines Must have mass market experience Experience with Tech Design- men's underwear Temp to Perm, Full Time Salary $90-100K based on experience and level of skills required.
