As a Cook, you'll play a vitalrole in ensuring our residents receive tasty and nutritious meals and snacks.What you'll be doing:* Prepare a variety of dishes according to the daily menu. We're all about creativity and are all ears if you have a unique spin on a classic recipe.* Your cooking will impact the health and happiness of our residents. By following special dietary needs and creating meals that are both tasty and nutritious, you'll be making a real difference in their lives.* Maintain high standards of quality - observing each dish to ensure it meets our recipe and appearance standards.* Engage residents with friendly conversations and walk-thrus to ensure high satisfaction.* Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by properly cleaning all equipment, work areas, walls, and floors. Your dedication to hygiene is vital to our community's well-being.What you'll bring to the table:* High School diploma or equivalent* 2+ years of experience with food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation.* Read and follow instructions, recipe books, menus, and food labels correctly.* SERV-SAFE Certified preferred but not required.* May be required to hold valid First Aid Certification.What's in it for you:We believe in taking care of our associates, just like they take care of our residents.
