As an Environmental Scientist and an Officer on the U.S. Army Health Care Team, your knowledge of biology, environmental health, and industrial hygiene will help prevent illness and injury. Medical Professional Officers are required to complete an initial military orientation and training course lasting 26 days in San Antonio, TX, at Fort Sam Houston. The trainers are fellow Medical Professional Officers.
