Job Title: Sr. Designer - UGG FootwearReports to: Sr. Manager, DesignLocation: Goleta, CA - HybridThe RoleAs a Sr. Designer for UGG Footwear, you’ll lead the design and creation of women’s fashion footwear, aligning with UGG’s brand vision and seasonal initiatives. You’ll develop concepts, sketches, CADs, and colorways, balancing innovation, commercial appeal, and brand authenticity. We believe that when we bring our different perspectives to work, we are truly Better Together.Your ImpactDesign women’s fashion footwear products in line with UGG’s creative direction and seasonal goalsDevelop original, trend-relevant product designs, concepts, sketches, CADs, and colorwaysTranslate seasonal briefs and creative direction into compelling footwear productsCreate technical sketches, artwork, merchandise boards, and supporting materials for development and presentationAdhere to seasonal Critical Path calendar deadlines for timely product executionPartner with Product and Development teams to select materials and execute designs within pricing targetsSchedule and facilitate meetings with internal teams and external partners, including agendas, samples, and materialsCollaborate with development teams to expedite tech/spec packages and product approvalsMonitor global fashion, footwear, and consumer market trends to inform product directionInterpret trend insights into commercially viable and globally appealing productsAttend seasonal kickoff meetings and participate in assigned design travelAssist with travel coordination and inspiration planning activitiesGather and apply market, cultural, and trend inspiration from travel experiencesCoordinate with Product and Development Coordinators on sample ordering, tracking, delivery, and organizationMaintain team sample libraries for accessibility, reference, and confidentialitySupport onboarding and training of new team members and contribute positively to a collaborative team environmentWho You AreBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience4+ years’ experience in footwear design or related fieldSolid understanding of construction and shoemaking processProficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, ProcreateDemonstrate authenticity, integrity, and courageValue diverse perspectives and leverage team talentsDrive strategy and cultivate innovationDeliver results through prioritization, planning, and executionWhat We'll Give You Competitive Pay and Bonuses - We’ve created a variety of competitive compensation programs to foster career development, reward success and to show our employees just how much they’re valued.Financial Planning and wellbeing - No matter what financial goals our employees have set, we want to help them get there.
