Regional Sales Director - Los Angeles, CA - Hawaii, HI

Abbott seeks a Regional Sales Director for its Cardiac Rhythm Management division covering Los Angeles and Hawaii. The role involves leading regional sales strategy, managing territory managers and clinical specialists, and driving commercial objectives while ensuring clinical competency and customer engagement across the assigned geography.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategy to meet franchise goals and sales plans
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop direct reports including territory managers and clinical specialists
• Conduct quarterly field visits with team to drive customer engagement and clinical competency
• Prepare regional sales forecasts, monitor budgets, and ensure accountability and compliance
• Build cross-functional partnerships with marketing, training, and clinical trial teams to advance franchise objectives

Requirements

• Leadership experience managing sales teams and direct reports
• Knowledge of cardiac rhythm management devices or medical device sales
• Sales forecasting, budget oversight, and account management expertise
• Clinical coaching ability and understanding of CRM procedures
• Willingness to travel in excess of 50% and reside in assigned region
• Strong organizational, operational, and cross-functional partnership skills
• Compliance and regulatory knowledge in healthcare/medical device industry
