This is a very PT time position with about 12hrs per week. This position is great for someone looking for extra income or busy work and willing to put in the effort to make the properties a success.

Growing Self-Storage operator looking for a skilled maintenance tech to work at its Asheboro NC locations. This is an equal opportunity workplace and drug free environment; a clean driving record and background check are required for employment. This position will require an individual skilled in property maintenance including but not limited to;

· Landscape Maintenance

· Pest control

· General and preventative maintenance

· Required Daily walk-throughs to ensure facility safety and integrity

· Ability to push, pull, lift up to 50lbs

· Clean and prep units for move in

·Abandoned unit clean-out and haul away

Self-Storage specific responsibilities with on-the-job training include:

· Auction procedures such as lock cuts and drilling locks, over locking units,

· Fixing hasps and door maintenance.

· Meet with and direct vendors when necessary.

· Special projects as they arise

· Limited tenant interaction

Schedule can be somewhat flexible, but you would be required to have availability M-F and be available on occasion to meet with vendors. This is a general overview of responsibilities which may change with your experience and property need. Must have a reliable vehicle, preferably a truck, capable of hauling materials to and from the site. You will be scheduled to work 10-12 hours per week but may be required additional hours which you will be compensated for. The first 60days will be your busiest and will require additional attention to the property and procedures as the company establishes new ownership and customer policies. Employee will operate via phone with the office so a phone is necessary. All job responsibilities will be discussed in the formal interview in detail so please bring your knowledge and your questions.
