Per Diem Pharmacist | Clermont, Florida

This opportunity offers a per diem position for a pharmacist to provide essential coverage in the Orlando, Florida area. The role focuses on delivering safe and efficient medication services under direct supervision, ideal for pharmacists with retail experience looking for flexible scheduling.


Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (1st shift)
• Friday: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM (1st shift)

Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing medications accurately and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Counseling patients on medication usage and adherence to prescribed regimens.
• Addressing patient questions, concerns, and complaints following established policies.
• Maintaining inventory records, including controlled substances.
• Assisting patients with insurance and third-party coverage clarifications.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software, specifically Pioneer, is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Location: Clermont, Florida (coverage primarily for Orlando area).


This contract assignment spans March 13, 16 through March 20, offering a focused engagement with potential for extending per diem responsibilities.
