Bring your specialized PACU skills to a collaborative environment that values clinical excellence and patient-centered care.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery, providing rapid intervention if complications arise.Administer medications, treatments, and pain management appropriately according to patient needs and physician orders.Thoroughly document post-operative care assessment findings, interventions, and progress in medical records.Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and patients' families to share vital updates and care plans.Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive recovery space in compliance with established protocols.Educate patients and families on post-surgical care instructions as they prepare for discharge or transfer.Qualifications:Current RN license in good standing.Previous experience in PACU nursing with demonstrated knowledge of post-anesthesia patient care.Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.BLS and ACLS certifications required.Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.Adaptability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-focused environment.In this contract position, you'll have the opportunity to expand your professional experience while supporting patients through critical moments of their recovery journey.
