Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of the sheet metal team.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements.
• Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification.
• Ensure adherence to all safety rules and regulations.
• Train and mentor junior staff members and apprentices.
• Install HVAC sheet metal including ductwork, VAV boxes, fire/smoke dampers, and other related components.
• Oversee the fabrication of sheet metal parts using a variety of tools and machines.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC sheet metal fabrication and installation.
• Proven experience as a foreman, lead person, or similar leadership role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
