We are seeking an IT Consultant 1 (ITC1) to advise enterprise stakeholders on leveraging technology, systems, and industry best practices to solve complex business problems and support strategic organizational objectives.

The consultant will bridge business requirements and technical solutions by analyzing existing and emerging technologies, defining requirements, evaluating solution alternatives, and assessing technical risks, costs, and benefits.

• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand business needs and define comprehensive technical requirements.

• Evaluate legacy and modern enterprise architectures, including cloud and on-premises environments.

• Analyze enterprise workflows, integration points, infrastructure, software, security, and data environments.

• Recommend technology solutions aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.

• Research emerging technology trends and evaluate their feasibility for system modernization.

• Perform gap analyses, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and technology option appraisals.

• Identify implementation risks, technical trade-offs, operational impacts, dependencies, and cross-system considerations.

• Advise stakeholders on technology alternatives, including advantages, disadvantages, risks, and costs.

• Work closely with program and project management teams to develop appropriate technical solutions.

• Translate complex technical concepts and risks into clear recommendations for non-technical leadership.

• Support enterprise modernization, optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in an IT department or IT consulting environment.

• Broad exposure to multiple enterprise technology areas, including:

  • Infrastructure

  • Software/Application Systems

  • Security

  • Data

  • Cloud and/or On-Premises Technologies

• Experience gathering and defining functional and non-functional requirements.

• Experience evaluating technical alternatives and recommending appropriate IT solutions.

• Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to communicate technical risks, costs, benefits, and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field .

• Experience in external IT consulting or management consulting engagements.

• Experience working with multidisciplinary client environments.

• Hands-on experience supporting:

  • IT Security Audits

  • Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)

  • Security Governance

  • Risk Management

• Experience with large-scale public-sector or regulated enterprise systems.

• Experience supporting enterprise modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
