Working closely with team members and mentors, the Associate Intern will learn key processes, programs, and technologies while supporting departmental projects and initiatives. Through hands-on experience, professional development opportunities, and cross-functional collaboration, the Associate Intern will build foundational business and technical skills that support future career success. This role will also need to:· Support day-to-day team activities and contribute to research, data gathering, and light analysis under close mentor guidance.· Contribute to a defined summer project with structured milestones, regular mentor check-ins, and manager feedback.· Attend intern orientation, professional development workshops, and networking events designed for early-career exploration.· Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.**What Do You Need to Be Successful?**· Demonstrated interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.· Interest in a career in Actuarial Science· Strong analytical skills· Practical, developed technical skills, especially Excel and VBA**What Are the Requirements You Must Meet?**· Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree; rising junior considering a major in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, computer science or economics.
