Respiratory Therapist

Bayview Medical Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist. Schedule: Full-time Days 07:00 am - 7:00 pm includes weekend rotation. Pay Rate: $65 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Observe and assess patients during pulmonary rehabilitation sessions
  • Monitor and obtain vital signs as appropriate
  • Assist patients throughout therapy activities to ensure safety and tolerance
  • Provide patient education related to pulmonary disease management and rehabilitation goals
  • Respond appropriately to patient needs or changes in condition
  • Work collaboratively with the pulmonary rehab team, including another RT responsible for documentation
  • Follow infection control, safety, and departmental policies
  • Maintain a professional, supportive, and respectful environment for all patients
