Charge Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse to lead nursing staff in providing exceptional care to residents in a healthcare facility. Key Responsibilities Include Performing comprehensive physical health assessments and monitoring residents' health status. Ensuring safe nursing practices and responding to medical emergencies. Managing emergency situations, including controlling scenes and coordinating transportation if needed. Maintaining emergency equipment and supplies, and assisting with planning and evaluating nursing activities. Educating and training staff, serving as a preceptor for new nurses, and supervising nursing personnel. Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and reviewing physicians' orders and medication records. Administering medications, performing laboratory procedures, and documenting care accurately. Handling staffing needs and ensuring proper coverage in case of call-offs. Qualifications Include Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current licensure. Minimum of two years of RN experience in a healthcare setting; bachelor's degree preferred. Charge nurse or management experience is advantageous. Ability to work independently, coordinate activities, interpret policies, and establish positive relationships with staff and residents.
