Relocation assistance if needed Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Estimator (up to Sr level) to join our thriving team in the construction industry. This individual will play a key role in our company's financial planning by estimating the costs of upcoming healthcare and commercial projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services. This role is integral to our business success, as accurate cost estimation is fundamental to our competitive bidding process and financial management. Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure comprehensive, accurate, and competitive pricing. Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality, or availability of materials. Evaluate offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirements. Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials, identifying qualified subcontractors, and negotiating price. Prepare and present cost reports, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date. Work closely with the project management team to ensure estimates are accurate and the project stays within budget. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. Proficient in cost control, procurement, team leadership, project estimation, cost analysis, and material take-off (MTO). Proficient in relevant software, including MS Office Suite and estimating software. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements. Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proven experience in managing a team and leading projects to successful completion.
