Lead Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Lead Maintenance Technician oversees the upkeep and repair of HVAC systems within a small team of 1-3 technicians. This role ensures optimal equipment performance through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and effective team leadership. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to lead maintenance efforts efficiently.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate a small team of maintenance technicians
Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
Ensure compliance with safety and technical standards
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
Communicate effectively with team members and management
Implement process improvements to enhance equipment reliability

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in maintenance
Technical certification in maintenance or related field
HVAC Certification
Knowledge of electrical systems
Expertise in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
Strong team leadership and communication skills
Effective problem-solving abilities
