Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Rotating Weekends | No Call Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6 in an 18-bed unit setting
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EHR
• Float to other units as required based on staffing needs
• Participate in weekly Monday orientations at the start of the assignment
• Take ownership of assigned patients and function as a collaborative team member

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated med/surg clinical experience
• Ability and willingness to float to other units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 5 or more years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Prior experience with Meditech electronic health records
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
