Step into an impactful school-based contract opportunity shaping student lives! Certified Speech-Language Pathologists are needed in three vibrant educational settings, serving a diverse K-12 caseload. Work in dynamic, collaborative environments—whether you prefer a high school, a blend of elementary campuses, or a unique middle/elementary rotation, there is a role tailored for you.

You will be supported and valued as you help around 60 students achieve communication milestones, collaborating onsite with educators and families.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Alabama (SLP Cert in AL)
  • Current SLP Educator Certification for Alabama public schools (must be verifiable)
  • Valid or eligible SLP-CCC credential; strong new grads/CFs are also encouraged to apply
  • Fingerprint clearance and background check as required by state regulations
  • Prior experience in school settings preferred, but committed new graduates are welcome
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, onsite therapeutic speech and language services to K-12 caseloads (approximately 60 students per assignment)
  • Complete timely assessments, develop IEP goals, and support student progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate speech services into educational plans
  • Maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support strategies
