Radiation Therapist -Oncology

Description We are currently seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist. As a Radiation Therapist specializing in Oncology, you will play a crucial role in delivering radiation treatment to cancer patients. Your work will directly impact the well-being and recovery of individuals battling cancer. This position involves working on a variety of oncology projects, utilizing advanced technology and techniques to provide effective treatment. Responsibilities: Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by the oncologist. Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment. Monitor and assess patient reactions to treatment and collaborate with the healthcare team. Ensure accurate patient positioning during treatment sessions. Document patient treatment information and maintain accurate records. Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment procedures. Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols. Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure treatment accuracy. Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required. ARRT (T) certification is mandated. A minimum of 1 year of travel experience is required, or work experience post-graduation with Varian and ARIA is mandatory.
