Pharmacy Technician

Title: Pharmacy Technician Location: Remote Rate: $20/Hr Assigned shifts vary from 8am to 8pm CT (8 hour shifts Mon - Fri) Training hours Mon - Fri 8am - 430pm CT (6 weeks) Note: This position is a contract on W2, and is NOT open to C2C. We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support a high-volume prior authorization team. This role will handle incoming calls from members and providers, provide professional customer service, document authorization decisions, and route clinical questions to the pharmacist. Responsibilities: Handle high-volume incoming calls from members, providers, and other callers. Provide professional assistance throughout the criteria-based prior authorization process. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of approvals and denials. Transfer clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist. Support administrative pharmacy activities and provide excellent customer service. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in an administrative support function. National Pharmacy Technician Certification required. Eligible for state registration, certification, or licensure as required. Minimum 1 year of high-volume call center/customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or social services. Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word and spreadsheet applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High School Diploma or GED required.
