Key Responsibilities Wash dishes, glasses, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand or using dishwashers. Ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards. Organize and store clean dishes and utensils properly. Assist with kitchen cleanup tasks as needed. Maintain a clean environment including the cleaning of the back of house, bar areas, and patios. Follow all Verve policies, procedures, and processes. Assist with daily mise en place and prep work as needed. Have a passion for coffee. Qualifications and Requirements Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role preferred. Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods. Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude. Ability to work well in a team setting. Must be 18 years or older. Able to multi-task and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively with others, written and verbally. Inclusive, respectful, and professional and the ability to work as part of a team. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Hours can be part-time/full-time based on availability, including weekends and holidays. Hours may fluctuate due to business needs. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and crouching. May lift products and packaging weighing between 25 and 50 pounds.
