The position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your own space while maintaining regular office hours. Our Detox Center is designed to be a tranquil and supportive environment, conducive to recovery and personal development. You will work closely with a team of mental health professionals, collaborating through virtual platforms to ensure that each client receives the highest quality of care. Full-time working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  • Act as a primary liaison with families and outpatient providers to coordinate client care effectively.

  • Engage with insurance companies to facilitate pre-certifications and manage utilization effectively, ensuring clients receive the necessary services without interruption.

  • Participate actively in discharge planning and aftercare strategy development, positioning clients for the best possible outcomes post-treatment.
  • \n
  • Provide therapeutic meal support that emphasizes and models a healthy relationship with food, reinforcing positive behavioral strategies.

  • Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirming care to clients, understanding and responding to the unique circumstances presented by each individual based on their backgrounds and identities.

This role specifically focuses on clients undergoing detoxification and recovery within a structured environment. You will work with individuals potentially facing substance use disorders, mental illness, and various life challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting these clients through some of the most transformative periods of their lives, helping them navigate their recovery journey with dignity and respect.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid LCSW license in the state of New York.

  • Proven experience working with older adults, ideally within the mental health or recovery sectors.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport quickly and maintain effective relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n
