Job Description:

This position is responsible for performing radiological exams in a safe and prudent manner for the specific purpose of producing a diagnostic exam of the highest quality while creating a quality environment for the customer. Performs a full range of diagnostic radiography.

Responsibilities:

• Perform radiological exams using automatic exposure control and appropriate technical factors.
• Ensure accurate positioning techniques and sterile practices are employed.
• Transport, transfer, and handle patients safely, ensuring preparation and condition evaluation.
• Understand and operate equipment, troubleshooting as necessary, while ensuring QA on films and equipment.
• Monitor patient needs and handle confidential information according to HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain professional growth and ensure safe work practices to prevent injuries.
• Interface with team members in accordance with organizational values, maintaining professional appearance.

Requirements:

• Enrollment in an ARRT-approved program and Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification, RT (R).
• Registered ARRT(R) required and CPR certification at Healthcare Provider (HCP) level within three months of hire.
• Demonstrates competency on equipment, critical thinking skills, and accountability in decision-making.
• Capability to care for customers/patients across the age continuum with manual dexterity and mobility.
