This independently owned, multi-location surgical group in the Greater Boston area is seeking an ACVS Diplomate or residency-trained Veterinary Surgeon with orthopedic and/or soft tissue experience to help support continued growth and exceptional patient care.

Veterinary Surgeon Qualifications

• ACVS Diplomate or completion of a surgical residency program required
• Experience or strong interest in orthopedic and/or soft tissue surgery
• Commitment to exceptional patient outcomes and high-quality medicine
• Strong communication skills with both clients and referring veterinarians
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a positive leadership approach
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced specialty surgical environment
• Passion for mentorship, clinical growth, and continued learning
• Interest in contributing to the growth and development of a progressive practice
• Client-focused approach with strong emotional intelligence and professionalism
• Eligible for veterinary licensure in the state of Massachusetts

Veterinary Surgeon Responsibilities

• Perform advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgical procedures
• Provide thorough case management from consultation through recovery
• Collaborate closely with surgical technicians, ER partners, and referral vets
• Deliver compassionate, client-centered communication and education
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records within integrated EMR systems
• Participate in treatment planning and ongoing patient care discussions
• Contribute to a positive, supportive, and collaborative team culture
• Help advance clinical standards and support continued practice growth
• Utilize advanced imaging and diagnostic tools
• Build and maintain strong relationships within the referral community
