We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team. This role is designed for a professional with a strong background in preventive and periodontal care who enjoys being an advocate for patient health. You will work alongside a dedicated team of dentists and support staff, utilizing your expertise to provide high-level clinical care while fostering an environment of education and trust.

$55~$60 per hour

Requirements

Active state Registered Dental Hygiene (RDH) license.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR Certification.
Valid Radiography/X-ray certification.
Minimum of 1 year of clinical dental hygiene experience.
Proficiency with ultrasonic and hand instrumentation.
Exceptional patient interaction and communication skills.
Strong professional writing skills for accurate medical documentation.

Job Description

Clinical Procedures: Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling, and root planing (SRP).
Diagnostics: Conduct comprehensive periodontal charting, risk assessments, oral cancer screenings, and interpret dental radiographs (BWX, FMX, and panoramic).
Preventive Care: Apply sealants and fluoride treatments and provide detailed education on oral hygiene techniques.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Safety & Compliance: Meticulously follow sterilization and infection control protocols in accordance with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
Team Collaboration: Participate in daily huddles, support patient recall efforts, and collaborate with dentists on specialized treatment plans.
