Human Resources Manager, Manufacturing

Baxter seeks an HR Manager for its Hayward manufacturing plant to serve as a strategic business partner. The role involves aligning talent strategies with business objectives, supporting organizational effectiveness, and managing employee relations with expertise in California employment law. Full-time, onsite position.
Responsibilities
- Serve as strategic HR business partner, aligning people strategies and workforce planning with business objectives
- Partner with senior leaders on organizational design, succession planning, leadership development, and culture initiatives
- Provide coaching on performance management, employee development, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution
- Lead HR program implementation in collaboration with Centers of Excellence to ensure consistency and alignment
- Manage complex employee relations matters, investigations, and compliance with California employment law requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Human Resources or Business preferred
- 5+ years HR experience including at least 2 years generalist experience
- Manufacturing plant background in healthcare preferred
- Proven ability to influence leaders at all levels with strong consulting and communication skills
- Experience supporting manufacturing environments, Lean principles, and operational effectiveness
- Proficiency with HR systems such as Workday and Kronos; advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Expertise in performance management, compensation, talent management, organizational design, and employee relations
Compensation: $112,000.00-$154,000.00 base annually
