7P-7:30A Job Summary

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing processincluding assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationto provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in identifying solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures the implementation of appropriate interventions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to develop and implement effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit/department.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Schedule & Requirements:

• At least 2 years of recent inpatient Labor & Delivery experience
• NRP certification
• BLS certification
• OBIX experience
• Epic experience
• We will approve up to one (1) week of requested time off (RTO) at the start of employment.
• Type: Phone interview; manager will call directly.
• Required Education: BSN
• License: Active State of Michigan nursing license
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; TNCC preferred
• Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of experience
• Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM7:30 AM
• Block Schedule: No
• On Call: No
