Position Details Location: Harlingen, TX Category: Security Officer Level Workdays Available: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday Shifts Available: Afternoon Business Unit: AUS Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour Job Schedule: Monday: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM Saturday: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor lobby and reception area activity within a technology, media, and telecommunications location, helping to identify and report unusual or suspicious behavior in a calm, problem‑solving manner. Verify credentials, manage visitor check‑in and sign‑in processes, and communicate with appropriate personnel regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or access requests. Respond to incidents, questions, and service needs at the front desk, document security‑related concerns, and elevate issues according to site policies and Allied Universal guidelines. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
