Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids in Oklahoma City is looking for a Salon Manager to lead our team, support our stylists, and help create the best kids’ haircut experience in town. What You’ll Do As Salon Manager, you will help run the day-to-day salon operation while also supporting the team on the floor. You will: Lead, coach, and motivate the salon team Help create a fun, positive, and professional salon culture Provide haircut services as needed during busy times Keep the appointment flow moving smoothly Make sure families feel welcomed, cared for, and excited to come back Support scheduling, training, hiring, and team development Help manage salon cleanliness, customer service, and daily standards Handle customer questions or concerns with professionalism Keep the team focused on fast, fun, high-quality kids’ haircuts Help drive local marketing, community events, and salon growth Who We’re Looking For The right person is: A licensed cosmetologist or barber in Oklahoma A natural leader who can motivate a team Great with kids and parents Positive, dependable, and professional Organized and able to multitask in a busy salon Comfortable holding people accountable in a respectful way Customer-service focused Calm under pressure Excited to help build a strong salon culture Requirements Current Oklahoma cosmetology or barber license required Must be legally able to provide haircut services in Oklahoma Salon management, assistant manager, or lead stylist experience preferred Kids’ haircut experience is a plus, but not required Must be available to work some evenings and weekends Strong communication and leadership skills required Pay & Benefits $16–$18/hour base pay, based on experience Tips earned daily Many of our stylists average approximately $30–$35+/hour in total earnings with tips Bonus opportunities based on performance Fun, family-friendly salon environment Leadership role with growth opportunity Supportive ownership Opportunity to grow with Sharkey’s Final earnings may vary based on schedule, availability, customer volume, services performed, and tips.
