REGISTERED NURSE - INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

Full‑Time Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (RN-ICU) Job Responsibilities You will understand patients with critical illness and vent management. You will have the ability to respond to Code Blue within the facility and initiate protocol, special procedures and cardiac monitoring. You will manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions. You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions. You will maintain and review patients' records including posting tests and examination results. You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders. You will check rooms daily for necessary supplies. You will respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed). Job Qualifications Candidates must have at least 2 years of acute care experience for the unit they are applying to. Competitive benefits package! Relocation bonus: Available depending on relocation area. 1 year commitment minimum. Sign on bonus: Candidates with less than 2 years experience, $10,000. Over 2 years experience, $25,000. 2 year commitment in order to receive full bonus. Certifications: BLS required upon submission. All other required certifications can be obtained after hire; please refer to Life Support Certification document in attachments.
