Stand-Up Forklift Operator – Shipping Dock Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM Shift: 1st Shift Job Overview Highline Warren is seeking an experienced and dependable Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join its shipping dock team in Elkton, MD. This position is responsible for safely operating stand-up forklifts, moving and organizing products, and supporting daily shipping operations to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Safely operate stand-up forklifts to move, load, unload, and stage materials. Transport finished products and pallets throughout the warehouse and shipping dock. Prepare and stage outgoing shipments according to shipping schedules. Load and unload trailers while ensuring proper product handling. Verify product quantities and inspect shipments for accuracy and damage. Assist with picking, packing, and organizing orders as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines. Work closely with shipping and warehouse team members to meet daily productivity goals. Qualifications Previous stand-up forklift operating experience required. Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, or shipping dock preferred. Ability to safely maneuver forklifts in busy warehouse environments. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active setting. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned schedule.
