Travel CT Technologist - $3,019 per week

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week contract at a Level 1 trauma hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 3x12 hours Hours: 36 hours per week Start Date: Aug 2, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Responsibilities Acquire and process CT images per departmental protocol, ensuring proper patient preparation, positioning, immobilization, and radiation shielding. Calibrate and verify equipment operation at the start of each shift and report any malfunctions. Operate Siemens CT equipment, including scanner, power injector, laser printer, and patient monitoring devices. Perform venipuncture for contrast administration under the direction of a radiologist. Transfer images to PACS and manage radiology information system (RIS) functions. Chart using Epic and submit reports to the 24/7 service desk. Perform weekend coverage and on‑call coverage as required. Participate in quality assurance, quality improvement, and research programs within the department. Maintain continuing education units (CEUs) in accordance with MA State licensure and ARRT requirements. Provide instruction to radiology and CT technology students in the department, when needed. Adhere to fluorescent‑light‑vaccine requirement; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with at least 1 year in CT. Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. Active MA Radiologic and CT Technologist license required; no conditional or pending licenses accepted. ARRT (CT) certification required. BLS certification required (American Heart Association only; Red Cross not accepted). Level 1 trauma experience required. Siemens CT experience required. Experience with cross‑sectional anatomy, imaging techniques, and PACS systems. License required if applicable. Two professional references required for consideration.
