Instructional Designer

About the Job


We are seeking an Instructional Designer to support organizational change initiatives by developing learning solutions that enable successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working. In this role, you will partner closely with change management teams to translate business impacts into effective training programs, learner resources, and adoption-focused enablement materials.


The ideal candidate has experience designing engaging learning content, understands adult learning principles, and can create practical training assets that help employees navigate change effectively.


Responsibilities

• Partner with change managers and project stakeholders to assess learning needs resulting from business, process, or technology changes.
• Design, develop, and maintain training materials that support employee readiness and adoption.
• Create instructor-led training (ILT) materials, participant guides, facilitator guides, and presentation content.
• Develop self-paced learning modules, process walkthroughs, job aids, and quick reference guides.
• Align learning content with change management strategies, key messages, and desired employee behaviors.
• Support training plans and learning schedules to ensure readiness milestones are achieved throughout program implementation.
• Collect learner and stakeholder feedback and continuously improve training materials and delivery approaches.
• Coordinate with learning platforms, LMS administrators, facilitators, and external delivery partners as needed.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy across all learning and enablement materials.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in instructional design, training development, learning and development, or related learning support roles.
• Experience developing structured training content and performance support materials.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
• Understanding of change management concepts and how training contributes to successful adoption.
• Strong project organization, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, or Adobe Captivate.
• Experience administering or supporting Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Exposure to enterprise technology implementations, process transformations, or operating model changes.
• Familiarity with organizational change management methodologies and employee adoption strategies.
• Experience supporting large-scale business transformation initiatives.
