Position Overview
An established healthcare organization is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive patient care in an occupational and primary care clinic setting. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients, supporting wellness initiatives, managing acute and chronic conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The provider will work under established physician protocols while promoting high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-employment, return-to-work, and annual wellness examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based clinical guidelines.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Perform health screenings and preventive care programs.
• Evaluate and treat workplace injuries and common illnesses.
• Consult with medical leadership regarding patient cases and care plans.
• Oversee employee health testing programs, including respirator fit and hearing conservation testing.
• Provide patient education, wellness coaching, and health advocacy services.
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing as appropriate.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when necessary.
• Coordinate care and make referrals to specialists or other healthcare professionals when indicated.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Support clinic operations and assist with additional duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with an active state license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or a related outpatient setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and clinical staff.
• Commitment to ethical practice and evidence-based care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active DEA license.
• Experience in occupational health or employee wellness programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
