POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Supervisor supports the daily operations of ServiceMaster NCR's warehouse under the direction of the Warehouse Operations Manager, with a higher level of ownership, initiative, and technical capability than an entry-level Assistant. This role is essential to keeping our field crews equipped and ready to respond to jobs across the DC Metro area. It involves hands-on physical work — loading and unloading equipment, organizing inventory, operating a sit-down forklift, and delivering materials to job sites — done proactively and with minimal need for direction.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Stock, organize, and arrange equipment and supplies within the warehouse, proactively identifying and correcting organization or labeling issues before they're flagged
• Load and unload trucks with restoration equipment, materials, and debris, operating a sit-down forklift as needed
• Pull equipment for outgoing jobs and restock returned equipment from completed job sites, verifying condition and flagging damage or shortages without being asked
• Deliver equipment and supplies to active job sites, coordinating timing and priorities with the Warehouse Manager
• Assist field Technicians on job sites as needed
• Receive, inspect, and log daily warehouse packages and deliveries
• Take ownership of the daily Sign-In/Sign-Out Log for shared equipment (PAPRs, batteries, specialty tools) — verifying returns and flagging missing or damaged items to the Manager the same day
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times, taking initiative to address hazards or disorganization
• Operate company vehicles as assigned for deliveries and equipment pickup
• Use computer and business software tools (inventory systems, scheduling, email) and AI tools as needed to support daily recordkeeping and communication
• Manage pack-out intake and collaborate with the warehouse manager on pack-out inventory
• Supervising content cleaning personnel
• Management of other software systems such as fleet tracking, inventory management, etc. 
  

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with routine equipment cleaning, inspection, and basic troubleshooting
• Support the Warehouse Manager with inventory counts and supply tracking
• Help orient new hires to warehouse procedures and safety basics

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current forklift operator certification with hands-on experience operating a sit-down forklift
• Proficient with computers and everyday business software; comfortable using AI tools to support daily tasks
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to perform sustained physical labor throughout a full workday
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented, with a track record of taking initiative
• Ability to follow established safety rules and procedures
• Prior experience in a warehouse, moving, logistics, or trades environment (preferred)
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus (preferred)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly; heavier items with team lift
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and carrying throughout the workday
• Ability to load and unload trucks repeatedly throughout the day
• Ability to safely and confidently operate a sit-down forklift
• Ability to operate a company vehicle and travel to job sites
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including varying temperatures
