Job Description

Job Summary:
The Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Technologist is responsible for providing professional patient care through radiologic imaging procedures in the Cath Lab. They collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety during cardiac and peripheral procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scrubbing and monitoring of various modalities within the Cath Lab to facilitate accurate imaging.
• Assist physicians during heart catheterization, emergent procedures (such as Impella and IABP), peripheral studies, and electrophysiology labs.
• Ensure proper documentation of procedures and patient information in accordance with protocols.
• Maintain the safety and comfort of patients throughout procedures, responding promptly to emergent situations.
• Work collaboratively with team members, supervising physicians, and management to deliver quality patient care.
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, including licensure and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio State Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Possess ARRT certification in Radiology.
• Have at least 2 years of current Cath Lab experience.
• Preferably have 1+ years of travel experience in a similar setting.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
