About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE) to lead the strategic vision and implementation of dynamic, future-focused programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for steering the CTE division, ensuring the integration of rigorous academics with industry standards, and fostering partnerships with local businesses to maintain real-world relevance. This role demands a leader with a profound understanding of urban education, a commitment to equity, and the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team. The Executive Director will also be tasked with overseeing a robust array of CTE programs, harmonizing them with district goals, and championing the integration of STEM principles to prepare students for technological and scientific advancements. Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor's degree in education, CTE, or a related field, with a Master's degree highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in CTE or related educational program management is required, preferably in a large urban school district. The role calls for a professional with a proven track record in crafting and maintaining industry partnerships, strong problem-solving and project management skills, and the ability to balance the big picture with detailed execution.
