(AAI), located in University Research Park on the west side of Madison, is looking to add a Material Handler to our well-trained and experienced staff. Advanced Assembly, Inc. is an electronics manufacturing services provider of electronic assemblies and products, including the Captioned Telephone (CapTel). This full time position offers a first shift schedule of Monday – Thursday, 5:30 am – 3:00 pm & Friday 5:30 am – 9:30 am, a competitive starting wage and a full benefits package. Job Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for performing a wide variety of inventory handling and processing activities. Essential Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and quality, and document any discrepancies utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Perform inventory transactions in the ERP. Ensure all materials are properly identified, stored, and tracked. Ensure First In, First Out (FIFO) is followed. Follow company Safety and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) policies. Cycle count material. Follow 5S practices to maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Basic English, math, and computer skills (e.g., Microsoft applications). Detail oriented with numbers and data entry. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
