Principal Architect

Position Overview ADP Technology Services, Inc. is hiring a Principal Architect located in Roseland, New Jersey. Develop strategies and roadmaps to ensure optimal performance and productivity of ADP Associates. Design cloud architectures for high availability, automation, resilience, scalability, and security. Promote innovative technology and best practices for business units and enterprise‑wide initiatives. Govern current and strategic architectural blueprints, establish standards, test plans, and design templates. Provide technology analysis, recommendations, and business case development for client requests. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Seven (7) years of related experience. Work Experience Four (4) years of infrastructure architecture experience across network, compute (physical/VMware), database, and storage. OpenStack advanced designs. Infrastructure as Code or software‑defined infrastructure solutions. Cloud designs focusing on resiliency, high availability, and security. Cloud migration strategies, cloud computing, virtualization, Linux system administration, Kubernetes foundation, and cloud automation. Cross‑functional teaming and coordination with other IT disciplines. Experience with VMware to OpenStack migrations and AWS cloud services. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: USD $159,222.00 – USD $273,300.00 / Year* (compensation will not be less than applicable minimum wage or exempt salary requirements under federal, state, and local laws).
