Responsibilities Handle creditor's rights matters from intake through resolution, including debt collection, enforcement strategy, and creditor representation Manage foreclosure proceedings end to end — draft and file documents, conduct sales, appear in court hearings Navigate bankruptcy filings and proceedings on behalf of creditor clients Support real estate transactions and related legal matters as part of a multifaceted practice Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence with precision and clarity Attend and represent clients at court proceedings and administrative hearings Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy, legal research, and client communication Track deadlines, manage files, and stay current on changes in state and federal law affecting the firm's practice areas Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active bar admission in VA in good standing 1+ years of experience in creditor's rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, or real estate law preferred; strong candidates from other relevant backgrounds will be considered Solid research, writing, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-moving environment Comfortable with court appearances and client-facing work In-house, solo practice, and law firm experience all considered Why you will love working here This is a firm where your work has real impact — you are representing clients in matters that move quickly and require sharp, decisive legal thinking.
