Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Critical Care

Schedule

This is a night shift position, offering 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-level care in the NICU, PICU, and CVICU, specifically for pediatric patients. The successful candidate will have an Ohio RRT license and be required to have advanced certifications including NBRC, BLS, NRP, and PALS.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in high-acuity settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer treatments and interventions as prescribed.
• Participate in patient assessments and monitor patient responses to therapy.
• Float to various units as required, including Shaker Children's Rehab and multiple NICUs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two years of experience in pediatrics, NICU, and PICU required.
• Active NBRC certification, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS required at time of submission.
• Ohio RRT license in hand is mandatory.
• Experience with high-level care (level 4) is essential.
